Warranty Information

This product has a limited 1 year warranty in North America, Europe, and Australia.

For information on warranty periods in other regions, please contact your reseller or SilverStone authorized distributor.

1. Product component defects or damages resulted from defective production is covered under warranty.

Defects or damages with the following conditions will be fixed or replaced under SilverStone Technology’s jurisdiction.

a) Usage in accordance with instructions provided in this manual, with no misuse, overuse, or other inappropriate actions.

b) Damage not caused by natural disaster (thunder, fire, earthquake, flood, salt, wind, insect, animals, etc…)

c) Product is not disassembled, modified, or fixed. Components not disassembled or replaced.

d) Warranty mark/stickers are not removed or broken.

Loss or damages resulted from conditions other than ones listed above are not covered under warranty.

2. Under warranty, SilverStone Technology’s maximum liability is limited to the current market value for the product (depreciated value, excluding

shipping, handling, and other fees). SilverStone Technology is not responsible for other damages or loss associated with the use of product.

3. Under warranty, SilverStone Technology is obligated to repair or replace its defective products. Under no circumstances will SilverStone

Technology be liable for damages in connection with the sale, purchase, or use including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, loss of

profits, loss of use of the product or incidental or consequential damage whether or not foreseeable and whether or not based on breach of warranty,

contract or negligence, even if SilverStone Technology has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. Warranty covers only the original purchaser through authorized SilverStone distributors and resellers and is not transferable to a second hand

purchaser.

5. You must provide sales receipt or invoice with clear indication of purchase date to determine warranty eligibility.

6. If a problem develops during the warranty period, please contact your retailer/reseller/SilverStone authorized distributors or SilverStone

Please note that: (i) You must provide proof of original purchase of the product by a dated itemized receipt; (ii) You shall bear the cost of shipping

(or otherwise transporting) the product to SilverStone authorized distributors. SilverStone authorized distributors will bear the cost of shipping

(or otherwise transporting) the product back to you after completing the warranty service; (iii) Before you send the product, you must be issued a

Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number from SilverStone. Updated warranty information will be posted on SilverStone’s official website.

SilverStone Technology in North America may repair or replace defective product with refurbished product that is not new but has been functionally tested.

Replacement product will be warranted for remainder of the warranty period or thirty days, whichever is longer. All power supplies should be sent

back to the place of purchase if it is within 30 days of purchase, after 30 days, customers need to initiate RMA procedure with SilverStone Technology

in USA by first downloading the “USA RMA form for end-users” form from the below link and follow its instructions.

1. Connect the power connector and the SAS connector onto CP05-SAS’s IC board.

Refer to the above diagram:

For SAS hard drives, connect the SAS connector to either Channel-1 or Channel-2,

we recommend you to connect both.

For SATA hard drives, connect the SATA connector to Channel-1,

use only the 180° SATA connectors.

2. Secure the CP05-SAS onto the chassis.

1. Подключите разъем питания и разъем SAS к печатной плате CP05-SAS.

См схему выше:

В случае жесткого диска SAS, подключите разъем SAS к каналу-1 или каналу-2.

Мы рекомендуем выполнить подключение к обеим.

В случае жесткого диска SATA, подключить разъем SATA к каналу-1.

Используйте только разъемы 180° SATA.

2. Закрепите CP05-SAS на корпусе.

1. Verbinden Sie Netz- und SAS-Anschluss mit der IC-Platine des CP05-SAS.

Beachten Sie das obigen Diagramm:

Bei SAS-Festplatten verbinden Sie den SAS-Anschluss entweder mit Kanal 1 oder Kanal 2;

wir empfehlen die Verbindung beider Kanäle.

Bei SATA-Festplatten verbinden Sie den SATA-Anschluss mit Kanal 1;

verwenden Sie nur 180 °-SATA-Anschlüsse.

2. Sichern Sie das CP05-SAS am Gehäuse.

1. Connectez le connecteur d'alimentation et le connecteur SAS sur la carte IC du CP05-SAS.

Référez-vous au diagramme ci-dessus:

Pour les disques durs SAS, connectez le connecteur SAS au Canal-1 ou au Canal-2,

nous vous recommandons de connecter les deux.

Pour les disques durs SATA, connectez le connecteur SATA au Canal-1,

utilisez uniquement les connecteurs SATA 180°.

2. Attachez le CP05-SAS sur le châssis.

1. Enchufa el conector de potencia en la clavija SAS en la placa CP05-SAS.

Consulta el diagrama arriba:

Para discos duros SAS, enchufa el conector SAS bien en el Canal-1 ó el Canal-2,

le recomendamos que conecte ambos.

Para discos duros SATA, enchufe el conector SATA al Canal-1,

use solo los conectores SATA de 180º.

2. Fije el CP05-SAS en el chasis.

1. Collegare il connettore d’alimentazione ed il connettore SAS sulla scheda IC di CP05-SAS.

Fare riferimento allo schema sopra:

Per i dischi rigidi SAS, collegare il connettore SAS a Channel-1 o Channel-2,

si raccomanda di collegare entrambi.

Per i dischi rigidi SATA, collegare il connettore SATA a Channel-1,

usare solo connettori SATA 180°.

2. Fissare CP05-SAS al telaio.

1. 전원 커넥터와 SAS 커넥터를 CP05-SAS의 IC 보드에 연결합니다.

위의 다이어그램을 참조하십시오.

SAS 하드 드라이브의 경우 SAS 커넥터를 채널 1 또는 채널 2에 연결해도 되나,

둘 다 연결할 것을 권장합니다.

SATA 하드 드라이브의 경우 SATA 커넥터를 채널 1에 연결합니다.

이 경우 180° SATA 커넥터만 사용하십시오.

2. CP05-SAS를 섀시에 고정합니다.

1. CP05-SASのICボード上に、電力コネクタおよびSASコネクタを接続します。

上図をご参照ください。

SASハードディスクの場合、SASコネクタをチャンネル-1またはチャンネル-2のいず

れかに接続してください、両方への接続が勧められます。

SATAハードディスクの場合、SATAコネクタをチャンネル-1に接続します。

180°SATAコネクタのみを使ってください。

2. CP05-SASをケースに固定します。

1. 先將電源線與硬碟排線插上CP05-SAS的電路板。

如上圖:SAS硬碟排線的Channel-1與Channel-2其中一個連接上就能用,

但是最好是兩個都要接。

SATA硬碟,請將硬碟排線接上Channel-1, SATA排線限定使用180度的。

2. 再將CP05-SAS鎖上機殼。

1. 先将电源线与硬盘排线插上CP05-SAS的电路板。

如上图:SAS硬盘排线的Channel-1与Channel-2其中一个连接上就能用,

但是最好是两个都要接。

SATA硬盘,请将硬盘排线接上Channel-1, SATA排线限定使用180度的。

2. 再将CP05-SAS锁上机壳。
